Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad (KTMB) / Malayan Railways Limited is the main rail operator in Peninsular Malaysia. The railway system dates back to the British colonial era, when it was first built to transport tin. Previously known as the Federated Malay States Railways (FMSR) and the Malayan Railway Administration (MRA), Keretapi Tanah Melayu acquired its current name in 1962.
Positions:
1. MANAGER INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS (IR)
The Job
• Provide advice to Departments & Regional on IR, policies and processes e.g.
consultation, Management of grievances and disciplinary procedures.
• Manage the IR issues for the company including trade union related activities.
• Manage discipline, carry out investigation, conduct inquiry on disciplinary and
misconduct related matters, liaison with IR department and provide assistance in
updating and interpreting Labor Law, Industrial Relations Act and the Employment Act.
• Prepare and update all IR policies and procedures to be implemented by the company.
• Manage all litigation and employment tribunal cases at Labor Office or IR department
• Support Senior Manager/General Manager in preparing for consultation meetings and
the negotiation of the Collective Agreement.
Requirements
• Degree in Human Resources or related discipline; or
• At least 3 years experience in job grade G06
• Minimum 5 years of working experience in the Human Resource field, preferably with
exposure in a unionized environment and collective bargaining;
• Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills and fluency in English and
Bahasa Melayu is essential;
• Proactive, tactful and independent with minimum supervision
• Well verse with domestic inquiry procedures
• Experience in train operations is an added advantage

2. SECRETARIAL EXECUTIVE
Job Responsibilities:
1. To provide in-house secretarial services in managing and administering secretarial
practices and corporate secretarial requirements in accordance with the applicable rules
and regulations.
2. To assist in the preparation of circular resolutions, minutes of meetings and other
corporate secretarial documents.
3. To assist in the preparation of pre and post Board of Directors' and Board Committees
meeting and Annual/Extraordinary General Meeting.
4. To correspond with the Companies Commission of Malaysia and other relevant
authorities in connection with company secretarial matters.
5. To ensure proper maintenance of all secretarial documents.
6. To be able to handle basic secretarial duties with minimum supervision.
7. To attend other ad-hoc assignment as and when required.
Requirements:
1. An ICSA graduate with a valid Company Secretary licence from SSM or an associate
member of MAICSA.
2. At least 3 - 7 years of relevant working experience.
3. Familiar with the Companies Act and other statutory requirements.
4. Service oriented, responsible, well-organised, meticulous, able to work under pressure
and work independently in a fast-paced working environment.
5. Computer literacy in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint will be a prerequisite.
6. Good command of written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
